Vote

Following in the footsteps of Jen (Pop Stalin Design), Kit (kitsimons) and countless others I've recently submitted this very site to Web Design Book.

For those of you who care...

The gist of this imaginatively-named website is to create a book on... yes, you guessed it... web design. Basically you submit your website into their gallery, where people can vote on it. 20 votes and you're approved. Easy-peasy.

But is it though? This doesnt seem like a very well thought up system if you ask me, as the most popular sites - not the best - will always win. Who knows, we may be seeing some MySpace additions next! On the upper hand though the gallery does insist that web standards are met - thankfully ruling out any possibility of the latter. Additionally the approved designs go down to a judge(s) decision - again ruling out MySpace.
